OLD, OLD ZITS!!!

A special treat today! I recently purchased the book "The Comics Since 1945", which just so happens to chronicle the grassroots of our favorite teen and his wacky family. Some very interesting facts were uncovered and will be posted later. In the meantime, JUST LOOK AT THOSE SQUIGGLES!
Also, sorry for the erratic posting, but yadda yadda finals time. Hope you stick around!

  1. oh we will, we will. and it's hard to look at this comic, it just has way to much stuff happening. and i didn't know that Hector was Hispanic, so that's interesting to find out.

  2. Maybe J. Scott & J. Borgman forgot Hector was Hispanic or something, because I don't remember it having come up in the last few years, even a little bit.

  3. Hector's presence in the strip has been substantially reduced, because of the emergence of Pierce. Scott and Borgman used to make frequent references to Hector's ethnicity; now, he appears infrequently, delivers a quip, and vanishes again.

  4. The fact that this comic was launched in 1997 does a lot to explain why Jeremy wears a purple flannel all of the time. Because seriously, why else would someone wear a purple flannel, except it being 1997?
