- While "Zits" is undoubtedly one of the better comic strips currently being run in newspapers, we think that every so often it could use a little leg up, joke-wise. That's where "Better Zits" comes in. We take only the punchline of your so-so daily strip and change it into something...else. Zits is bettered by Madeline Queripel, Alex Horab, and Toby Jones. The actual comic belongs to those other guys.
The better zits strip is even better if you imagine Jeremy's mom (Connie?) being extremely sarcastic, and Jeremy being poindedly deadpan.
